Indiana Trip 2014

Our trip to Indiana was amazing! I am so grateful that we were able to go and visit my sister and brothers. I can't believe that all of my sibling live far far away from me now (sad face). While we were there we went to my old ward that I grew up in. It was so nice to see my ward family everyone was still there it was so cool. I took my girls down memory lane and drove them past my middle school, high school and old houses that I had lived. We enjoyed some of our favorite restaurants while we were there and enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful fall trees. The Indiana falls are definitely one of the things I miss most so many lush beautiful trees. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait until they come to good old Emmet Idaho and visit us!

Halloween 2014

I know I'm a little late at getting these on here but our halloween festivities were awesome! I always love going to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins and dressing up. We did our traditional trip to the pumpkin patch where we took a hayride to find our perfect pumpkins. Kelsey and Halley both tried the new zip line ride (which they loved) as me and daddy watched safely sipping on some hot chocolate. As nightfall came we entered into the corn maze on a quest to find punches for the girls maze cards. A little side note we only found about two that maze was huge! We then ended the evening with a lovely dinner at Red Robbin. Such great memories, I love that place!

Finally Pumpkin carving time!! Every year we usually bust out the carving patterns and trace something onto our pumpkins. Not this year we used our imaginations and came up with our own faces. I'd say they came out pretty cute!

Party time.... The girls had a week full of halloween fun! Both girls had class parties and then at their school they had a big monster mash with lots of games. Their school does it every year it is a hoot! We also had our trunk or treat and ward party. Then we topped the week off with some neighborhood trick or treating and ended the night with our traditional homemade donuts and hot chocolate.
