Our Love

It was November 12th 2002 When Justin and I first met. I was at the ward building on a Wednesday night for a primary meeting when I had caught wind that a return missionary was sitting down by the bishops office. I thought to myself maybe I should go get a "tithing slip" and see who this guy is. When I see Justin setting there immediately I get butterflies in my stomach. Justin's dad was in the stake presidency so he knew who I was and introduced us. We exchanged hello's and then went on our way. In the back of my mind I was thinking please oh please let me see him at the next singles activity and sure enough my prayers were answered. A few days after the activity Justin called and asked me out on a date. We just clicked it was like we had known each other forever. After a few short months of dating he purposed to me on January 25th 2003 and we were married March 1st 2003 in the Nauvoo, Illinois Temple. We were so lucky to be able to be married there, the spirit was so strong it is such a special place. We Just came up on our 9th anniversary and we just keep saying it's just getting better and better and we are falling more and more in love with each other everyday.

Our Family

This is our little Walker Family. We Have our Daddy, Justin, who is such an awesome dad! He works hard for our family and always shows us his love through his big kisses and hugs. Then theres Me Mommy, Erin, I love to love with all my heart. My family is my world and I would do anything for them. Next in our family is Kelsey "Roo Roo". She got this little nickname when she was a toddler because she would alway hop around like a kangaroo. Kelsey is a sweetheart, always thinks of others and is such a great example to her younger sister and those around her. And the youngest of our family is Halley "Loo Loo". This nickname comes from the word hallelujah because when Halley was born she was very sick and in the NICU for 3 weeks. She was a fighter and made it through and we got to bring her home happy and healthy "hallelujah". Halley has a big heart and loves to help others. She is always making us laugh with her funny little personality. We are so lucky to be able to have each other for Eternity.

Adoption

Dear Family and Friends,

We are sending out this letter in hopes of receiving your help. For the past five years we have been trying to have a baby. About a year ago, we decided to try infertility treatments. After one year and lots of money later, we still didn’t have any luck. At this point our hearts were broken and we thought “why us”?

We have a good family, a good home. We just don’t quite understand what Heavenly Father has planned for us. Through many tearful prayers our eyes have been opened and we both know in our hearts that our family isn’t complete. After doing all that we can possibly do to have another baby we have realized that we can’t do it alone anymore.

Justin and I have been Married for nine years and have been blessed with two beautiful little girls. Kelsey is our oldest and just turned 8. She is such a sweet girl. Always a good example to her sister. She is in tune with people’s feeling and wants to take care of everyone around her. Halley our youngest is 6. She is also a sweet little girl. Both her and Kelsey have really big hearts. Halley loves to cuddle and to be cuddled. She definitely knows how to make us laugh! We are truly blessed to have these beautiful girls in our life. We are ready to share this same love with another baby. We know it will be a blessing to that baby and to our family!

This is where we need all of your help. We would like to adopt a baby however, through our research, we have found that going through and adoption services can take years before receiving a baby, if at all. We need your eyes and ears open for any opportunities for us to be able to bless a special baby out there and our family. Word of mouth is the most effective way to adopt a child. So please let us know of anything that you may hear.

You may contact us at:

Phone - Erin’s Cell 1-(208)-841-0182 or Justin’s Cell 1-(208)-841-0184

Through your efforts to help bless our family you to will be blessed thank you

Love ,
Justin and Erin Walker Family
